Local data and network use

Projects, media, settings, caches, backups and operational logs are stored on your Mac. Normal editing and saving do not automatically send your work or activity history to the operator.

Sparkle update checks and downloads communicate with the update delivery service. Review your update settings and the identified update service.

Exporting diagnostics creates a local file; it does not upload it automatically. You choose the content and recipient when sharing it.

External integrations such as MCP can pass project content or images to a client you connect. Review how that client handles data.

Permissions

Access to files you select. Review the actions of external programs and scripts before running them.

Storage, backups and deletion

You manage and delete your projects and media. Manage caches, logs and independent backups at their respective storage locations.
